I’m Jude, based on the South West Coast where I specialise in highly realistic portraits alongside the watchful eyes of my 2 Scottish Terriers Wilson and Douglas! Originally from Staffordshire, where I worked as a surface pattern designer within the ceramic Industry for over 20 years.
I then became a freelance designer and worked with a variety of companies designing Cards, Wrapping Paper, Graphic Panels, 3D Character Work, Brochures, Point of Sale, Logo’s etc.
I love the challenge to capture an animal’s ‘unique’ personality, it’s the most important factor to me. I highlight expression, capturing those sparkling eyes, shiny wet noses, coat texture, all the elements that show the best qualities in your pet. I feel there is no better reward, handing over a portrait and watching peoples reactions.
My portraits are hand drawn from photographs using only the highest quality art materials and can be customised if required.
I work in a range of mediums, each have their own attributes so I can advise which medium to use based on your animals colouring, coat texture, size required etc. Rest assured everything will be tailored to your requirements.
